System Administrator

About the role

The company is seeking a System Administrator to provide first‑level support for its financial applications, primarily Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and TaxPacc. The role involves assisting business users, liaising between business units and the Business Systems team, and contributing to the continuous improvement of system configuration and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support and troubleshooting for HFM and TaxPacc financial systems.
• Assist users during month‑end processes and support system analysts.
• Offer guidance to business users on effective use of financial applications.
• Act as a liaison between business units and the Business Systems team to resolve reporting software issues.
• Help draft business specification documentation to enhance application configuration and operating procedures.
• Analyze, document, and propose solutions for complex business areas.
• Deliver on‑the‑job training for Hyperion system users.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Medically fit.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Working knowledge of Oracle and planning products.
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
• Experience with TaxPacc financial system.
