Support Consultant – Recruitment Support (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Minerva Nursing is seeking a motivated Support Consultant to join its Permanent Recruitment Division on a fixed‑term maternity cover. Based in District Six, Cape Town, you will act as the first point of contact for candidates, guiding them through the recruitment journey from initial outreach to their first day on the job.

Key responsibilities

• Make high‑volume outbound calls to potential candidates and conduct telephone pre‑screening.
• Source and match CVs to current permanent vacancies.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of candidates and keep them informed from offer to start date.
• Book interviews, manage Outlook diaries, and ensure all candidate interactions are logged accurately.
• Support candidates with compliance documentation, chasing outstanding items and updating the Compliance Team.
• Upload candidate information to the company CRM and refresh job adverts as needed.
• Collaborate with the wider recruitment team to meet weekly and monthly KPIs.

Required profile

• Confident and professional telephone presence.
• Friendly, positive attitude with strong relationship‑building skills.
• Highly organised with excellent time‑management and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
• Proactive, team‑oriented and comfortable working towards targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, especially Outlook.
