Subsidiary Accountant – Financial Reporting & Reconciliation

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Subsidiary Accountant to manage month‑end closing, intercompany reconciliations and ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulations. The role supports internal and external audit processes and works closely with affiliates, shared service centres and auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform month‑end closing procedures and maintain SOX compliance.
• Compile, analyse and post journal entries, ensuring integration between Docuware and SAP.
• Prepare and review balance‑sheet and intercompany reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Investigate and resolve unreconciled items from SSC and bank open items.
• Support audit requests and liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Prepare monthly departmental KPI reports and assist with ad‑hoc management requests.
• Contribute to the preparation of annual financial statements and quarterly CAP reports.
• Identify non‑value‑adding processes and drive improvements in accounting workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of IFRS and internal financial reporting standards.
• Commitment to company code of conduct and HSE policies.
