Store Manager – Family‑Friendly Bakery Café

About the role

Our client, a cosy family‑friendly bakery café in Brackenfell, is looking for a Store Manager to oversee daily operations, including stock control, front‑of‑house service and staff management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day store operations and organise cleaning schedules.
• Draw up work rosters, manage timesheets and supervise staff.
• Control stock, ensure compliance with HACCP food safety and quality standards.
• Participate in cooking and baking as needed while maintaining service orientation.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the premises.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in FMCG/manufacturing or food‑service environment.
• Qualification in Hospitality or a related field (advantageous).
• Clear understanding of HACCP/food safety standards.
• Reside in the Brackenfell area with reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence.
• South African ID, clean criminal record, and ability to work under strict short‑term deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

What we offer

• Salary R20 000 – R30 000 per month, dependent on experience.
