About the role
Our client, a cosy, family‑friendly bakery café in Brackenfell, is looking for a Shift Manager to oversee daily operations, including opening and closing the store and managing staff.
Key responsibilities
- Open and close the café, ensuring all procedures are followed.
- Conduct stock takes and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Manage and coach staff, sharing duties with a fellow shift manager.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years experience in an FMCG/manufacturing environment, preferably with food safety and quality exposure.
- Qualification in Hospitality or related field (advantageous).
- Residency in Brackenfell, reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence.
- South African ID and clear criminal record.
Required skills
- Coffee making, cooking and baking.
- Understanding of HACCP and food safety standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
