About the role
The Store Leader is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving sales, profitability and operational excellence in a wellness‑focused retail environment. This role combines hands‑on floor management with strategic oversight of stock, finances and team performance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage customer interactions, resolve complaints and ensure service standards.
- Optimize selling space, drive replenishment and maintain stock availability.
- Achieve sales targets, reduce waste, improve stock accuracy and control controllable expenses.
- Interpret income statements, develop action plans and monitor financial performance.
- Ensure store audit benchmarks are met and continuously improve store disciplines.
- Implement effective stock control, cash handling procedures and risk‑management practices.
- Lead, coach and develop team members, fostering a performance‑driven culture.
Required profile
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Completion of Wellness Foundation and Managerial training.
- Minimum 3 years wellness retail experience, including managerial duties.
- At least 5 years overall retail experience with 2‑3 years in a supervisory role.
- Genuine interest in health and wellness.
- Fully computer literate with strong written and verbal communication.
- Willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours.
- Own transport is essential.
