Staff Accountant (Sage Intacct)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant with strong Sage Intacct expertise to manage accounting operations for several fast‑growing businesses. In this remote position you will modernise accounting workflows, drive automation and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full accounting process across multiple entities, including day‑to‑day bookkeeping, journal, payroll and accrual entries.
• Maintain general‑ledger accuracy, proper account coding and timely posting of accounts‑payable transactions.
• Perform cash receipts, cash postings and monthly bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, preparing supporting schedules and financial statements.
• Analyse variances, investigate discrepancies and provide actionable insights.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities using Excel, AI and Sage Intacct enhancements.
• Collaborate with finance teams to continuously improve processes and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• 3–5+ years of full‑cycle accounting experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced remote environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and commitment to accuracy.
