Staff Accountant – Global Payroll & Reconciliations

About the role

DigiCert is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage payroll‑related transactions and liability reconciliations for a wide range of international entities. You will collaborate with finance teams worldwide, ensuring accurate month‑end close and supporting audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare payroll processing inputs and review outputs from payroll vendors for multiple global subsidiaries.
• Post monthly payroll entries and execute other month‑end close activities.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of liability accounts and routine income‑statement reconciliations.
• Provide explanations for variances on liability and expense accounts.
• Coordinate payroll documentation for internal and external auditors.
• Respond to finance queries, investigate audit findings, and resolve account discrepancies.
• Support finance improvement projects as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting with payroll processing and payroll accounting.
• Experience with a major ERP system and month‑end close procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality results.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables).
• ERP system proficiency (e.g., NetSuite).
• Payroll processing knowledge.
