Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join a well‑established private practice in Louis Trichardt. The practice has served the community for over 20 years and operates alongside a growing women‑ and children’s private hospital, offering a stable environment for a clinician with an entrepreneurial outlook.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological care, including antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal services.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of gynaecological conditions.
• Perform specialist procedures within the scope of obstetrics and gynaecology.
• Maintain strong relationships with patients and referring practitioners.
• Contribute to the practice’s growth through high‑quality patient care.

Required profile

• Qualified Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist.
• Eligible for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
• Compassionate, patient‑centred approach with excellent clinical skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in developing a successful specialist practice.
• Fluency in Tshonga and Venda is advantageous; private sector experience preferred but public sector specialists are encouraged to apply.
