Specialist – Early Childhood Education (Community Impact)

About the role

Sasol is seeking a Specialist in Early Childhood Education to lead community affairs initiatives that align with the company’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI) strategy. Based in Secunda, Mpumalanga, you will support business objectives by developing and implementing projects that enhance recreation, hospitality, and social impact within local communities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver community‑focused projects in line with CSI priorities.
• Assist the Manager of Social Impact with project planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality, and communication across the team.
• Supervise team performance, ensuring compliance with legal and statutory regulations.
• Track project progress, resolve issues promptly, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Develop and enforce procedures, service level commitments, and cost‑effective community activities.
• Drive recreation and hospitality initiatives that support the company’s strategic goals.

Required profile

• 3‑4 year relevant university degree.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in community affairs, social impact, or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate, communicate effectively, and manage change.
