Spa Wellness Specialist – Pre-Opening at Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Spa Wellness Specialist to join the pre‑opening team of a new luxury hotel in Cape Town. You will create a welcoming, rejuvenating environment by delivering yoga, fitness classes and holistic guest experiences that align with our wellness philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct group and private yoga sessions across various styles.
• Lead fitness classes such as strength, conditioning, stretching and functional training.
• Provide basic wellness guidance tailored to individual guest needs.
• Support spa operations including guest consultations, booking assistance and reception duties when required.
• Ensure gym, studio and spa areas are clean, safe and fully operational.
• Promote wellness programs and engage guests in activities and events.

Required profile

• Certified Yoga Instructor.
• Certified Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar hotel or wellness environment.
• Strong knowledge of yoga practices and general fitness/conditioning techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to connect with diverse international guests.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
