SPA Therapist

About the role

A Radisson hotel in Port Elizabeth is looking for a qualified Health & Skin Care Therapist to work in its spa. The role covers face and body treatments, guest service, bookings and basic administration, and requires working without supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Follow Radisson Hotel Group and spa SOPs, and uphold hygiene and sanitation standards
• Work to treatment allocations within the required time frame and adhere to treatment protocols
• Assist in all areas of spa operations as requested by management
• Handle guest requests, questions and concerns professionally and courteously
• Book appointments and respond to enquiries in person, by phone or by email
• Handle payments for treatments, daily cash-up procedures and other basic administrative duties
• Communicate to management any incidents involving staff or guests that require attention

Required profile

• Qualified Health & Skin Care Therapist with a nationally recognised diploma (minimum 2-year course)
• At least 2 years' experience in a luxury spa or hospitality environment; resort or cruise ship experience is advantageous
• Confident and competent in face and body treatments and home-care recommendations
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English
• Ability to work without supervision, manage workload by priority and work in a multicultural environment
