Sourcing Coordinator – Packaging

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sourcing Coordinator to support the Procurement organisation in the packaging category. You will work closely with Category Managers to gather market data, develop cost models and ensure that sourcing activities align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct selected RFQs under guidance of the Category Manager.
• Maintain commodity ZBM data in manual and Oracle systems and update contracts/quotations.
• Keep key category information – specifications, MOQ, lead times – in procurement databases.
• Own the vendor listing, ensuring accurate MRP supplier data, AVL classification, BEE status and certifications.
• Collect supplier performance data from manufacturing sites and produce service‑level reports.
• Resolve system pricing queries and support pricing of new items.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of procurement or sourcing experience in the FMCG sector.
• Relevant degree in a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Oracle procurement system.
