About the role

Our client, a well‑established hardware and engineering company, is seeking an enthusiastic and results‑driven Solution Sales Specialist to join their Cape Town team. The role focuses on understanding customer challenges, developing tailored solutions, and building long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share and increase revenue.
• Promote and sell the company's products and services to both new and existing customers.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular client visits and follow‑up.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and performance objectives.
• Prepare and submit accurate sales call reports and customer activity updates.
• Address customer enquiries and provide product, pricing, and delivery information.
• Monitor customer satisfaction levels and proactively resolve concerns.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• Proven hunter who enjoys opening new doors and developing business opportunities.
• Strong ability to build credibility and establish lasting relationships with customers.
• Experience selling technical, industrial, engineering, or B2B solutions.
• Results‑driven mindset with a passion for achieving and surpassing sales objectives.
• Excellent planning and territory management capabilities.
• Ability to understand customer needs and provide practical product recommendations.
• Strong administrative skills with focus on accurate reporting and follow‑up.
• Comfortable working independently and managing a sales pipeline from prospecting through to closing.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and standard business software.
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
