Sales Development Representative (SDR)

About the role

The Sales Development Representative will be the face of a fast‑growing, venture‑backed startup, responsible for building a strategic partner network through high‑quality introductions and outbound prospecting. The role is fully remote within South Africa, working 9:00 AM–6:00 PM UK time with a one‑hour lunch break.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and engage potential partners.
• Make cold calls and confidently pitch the company’s services and products.
• Book qualified partner meetings and execute account‑penetration strategies.
• Build and expand the strategic partner network through high‑quality introductions.
• Contribute to the overall network‑acquisition growth mechanism.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cold calling, prospecting, and booking meetings.
• Self‑sufficient with minimal need for hand‑holding.
• Meets at least one of: top‑university background, experience at reputable companies, or notable personal achievements.

Required skills

• Experience with AI tools such as Claude.
• Familiarity with custom CRMs.
• Use of outbound platforms like Reply.
• Use of outbound platforms like Apollo.
