Solution Partner - Banking Client Partner (Solutions & Delivery)

About the role

SAP Fioneer, spun out of SAP, helps financial services companies achieve speed, scalability and cost-efficiency through digital business innovation, cloud technology and end-to-end banking and insurance solutions. As a Solution Partner for Core Banking Software Solutions in South Africa, you will act as a trusted advisor with executive presence, engaging banking customers at C-Suite level.

Key responsibilities

• Take full entrepreneurial responsibility for a portfolio of strategic banking clients and act as the central point of contact at executive level
• Build strong, long-term client relationships that go beyond individual projects
• Define the strategic direction of solutions together with Solutioning and Product, and ensure commercial commitments are delivered
• Act as Executive Sponsor for critical programs within your client portfolio
• Work closely with Sales and Go-to-Market to scale growth and position SAP Fioneer within the banking ecosystem
• Leverage your network and market access to open doors and create opportunities

Required profile

• Several years of experience in a senior role within the financial-services sector, focused on banking
• Deep understanding of transformation initiatives in transaction banking, payments or core banking
• Proven experience building and developing client relationships at senior and executive level
• Track record of identifying, structuring and executing complex business and transformation initiatives
• Experience steering large-scale programs in a complex environment
• Ability to connect commercial considerations with delivery requirements
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong ownership and high execution capability
