Software Sales Consultant

About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for a Sales Consultant / Account Coordinator with a nationwide client. The role is mainly remote with occasional client visits, and the successful candidate must reside in Gauteng or Cape Town.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain good product knowledge via learning platforms and internal interaction.
• Collaborate on opportunities with internal stakeholders when required.
• Maintain and build relationships with new and existing clients.
• Convert marketing‑based leads into active clients.
• Evaluate clients’ needs and build effective solution proposals.
• Set up meetings with potential and existing clients and assist them to understand our services.
• Accurately and diligently perform administrative duties associated with the role.

Required profile

• At least 3 years sales experience in a technical field (IT, licensing, subscription, software).
• Proven experience as a sales executive or similar role.
• Fast learner with passion for sales and interest in the engineering industry.
• Self‑motivated, high energy and able to work remotely.
• Excellent work ethic and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Detail‑oriented, team player with strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
