Software Intern - SaaS Support

About the role

DSL Telecom, a business technology partner offering connectivity, voice, cloud platforms and integrated tools, is looking for a self-driven Software Intern to join its growing team of Technology Consultants in Somerset West, Cape Town. The internship covers learning how businesses use SaaS products, supporting clients and contributing to software implementation projects. The schedule is 8 hours, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-line support to clients by troubleshooting issues, answering queries and guiding them through software features.
• Learn and contribute to plans for how businesses can use technology effectively.
• Support project documentation, testing and quality checks during software rollouts.
• Log, track and follow up on client support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless implementation, integration and functionality of project components.
• Improve your skills through training, online self-learning and certifications.

Required profile

• Studying towards or having completed a diploma or bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field (preferred but not compulsory).
• Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong multitasking, time management and problem-solving skills; self-motivated and enthusiastic about continuous learning.
• Must be based in the Somerset West or surrounding area and able to attend the office regularly; local candidates only.
