About the role

impact.com is modernising its core platform by replacing a legacy monolith with a modular, event‑driven architecture. As a Software Engineer you will help shape this transformation, building clean, maintainable code while collaborating across product, sales and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions for large, complex problems using simple, elegant code.
• Participate in the architectural migration from a legacy monolith to a modular monolith and event‑driven services.
• Apply domain‑driven design, hexagonal architecture, test‑driven development and clean‑code principles.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver features that drive business impact.
• Continuously improve development processes, experiment with new ideas and mentor junior teammates.

Required profile

• Strong computer‑science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, system design).
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Interest or hands‑on experience with domain‑driven design.
• Familiarity with hexagonal/ports‑and‑adapters architecture.
• Ability to write clean, readable code using object‑oriented and functional paradigms.
• Understanding of test‑driven development and eagerness to grow in this area.
• Collaborative mindset with strong analytical and communication skills.
