Slack Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a remote Slack Administrator to manage and optimise our Slack workspaces on a contract basis. You will work 10‑40 hours per week, helping teams collaborate more efficiently through configuration, automation, and integration.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and configure Slack workspaces, including channels, user access, and notification settings.
• Develop and maintain workflow automations to streamline repetitive tasks.
• Integrate Slack with third‑party tools and internal platforms to enhance team operations.
• Deliver remote training and onboarding sessions for new users.
• Analyse Slack usage metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand pain points and implement effective Slack solutions.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience as a regular Slack user with proven day‑to‑day expertise.
• Strong proficiency in Slack administration, including channel management and user permissions.
• Experience creating workflow automations within Slack.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate Slack with third‑party applications.
• Capability to deliver engaging remote training and onboarding.
