Site Supervisor

About the role

The Site Supervisor will lead the inventory and production teams at our Port Elizabeth facility, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. You will champion SHEQ initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and maintain compliance with ISO9001 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise SHEQ processes for inventory and production, meeting safety targets.
• Manage recruitment, induction, and performance of team members in line with HR standards.
• Implement corrective actions from driver feedback, TROs, audit findings, and incident investigations.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring the site’s inventory and production budget and key cost performance indicators.
• Maintain effective communication with employees, customers, and suppliers.
• Participate in risk assessments on customer sites and driver routes to sustain ISO9001 certification.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
• 4–6 years of experience in a management role within a production or gas‑filling environment.
• Strong people‑management, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) processes.
• Familiarity with ISO9001 standards and audit procedures.
