Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Lula is looking for a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability, scalability, and security of its Azure‑based fintech platform. You will work closely with developers, DevOps, and security teams to ensure high‑availability services for SMEs.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor system health, alerts, and application behaviour, respond to incidents and lead root‑cause analysis.
• Tri­age and resolve service requests related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Build and continuously improve monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and KQL.
• Analyse performance, reliability and usage metrics to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Partner with internal developers and DevOps to design highly available, resilient Azure architectures.
• Collaborate with Microsoft to resolve complex Azure issues.
• Identify gaps in logging, metrics and tracing and improve system visibility.
• Work with SecOps to enforce security policies on Azure services.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment and management of Azure resources.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and act as a monitoring resource for changes and releases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 3‑5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps or Software Engineering.
• Strong understanding of Azure services, cloud computing and distributed systems.
• Experience acting as a technical escalation point and mentoring junior engineers.
