Short-Term Insurance Adviser (Sandton)

About the role

The Short-Term Insurance Adviser will generate new business and manage a portfolio of personal and commercial insurance policies for clients in Sandton. You will work independently and as part of a team to meet sales targets while providing professional advice on Momentum Insure products.

Key responsibilities

• Source and nurture lead‑generating opportunities to maintain a healthy pipeline.
• Write a minimum of 8.5 policies per month, meeting agreed KPIs.
• Conduct comprehensive needs analyses for prospective clients.
• Stay up‑to‑date on product features, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes.
• Maintain accurate records in the Lead Generation Matrix on a weekly basis.
• Adhere to all insurance regulations, FAIS codes of conduct, and professional ethics.

Required profile

• Matric/Grade 12 with FAIS credits (minimum 30 credits in short‑term insurance) or a recognised FSCA qualification.
• FAIS Representative Examination (RE5) and required CPD points.
• At least 3 years of experience selling short‑term insurance (broker, agent or tied agent).
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to use social media for networking.
