Shop Assistant

About the role

The Shop Assistant will be the front‑line representative of our retail outlet, delivering excellent customer service while handling sales transactions and supporting warehouse activities. You will ensure the store remains well‑stocked, visually appealing, and compliant with health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality sales service at the counter, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Receive, dispatch, pick, and conduct stock takes in the warehouse area.
• Perform colour matching and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Uphold store cleanliness, safety procedures, and overall presentation.
• Process incoming shipments, organise deliveries, and coordinate stock deliveries to customers.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 education with a valid driver’s licence.
• 2‑3 years of retail experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational abilities.
• Customer‑focused attitude with basic knowledge of sales principles.
• Product knowledge and the ability to learn quickly.
