About the role

Clicks is looking for a Shop Assistant Cashier for its Oudtshoorn store. The position is permanent and covers point-of-sale transactions, payments, cash handling, ClubCard enrolment, promotions, customer service, merchandising and housekeeping. Matric (Grade 12) is required.

Key responsibilities

Process point-of-sale transactions accurately
Handle payments and cash safely
Promote ClubCard membership and specials
Provide customer service
Maintain merchandising and housekeeping standards

Required profile

Matric (Grade 12)
Numeracy, communication and computer literacy
Customer orientation and ability to follow procedures
Customer-facing retail or FMCG experience is desirable but not mandatory
Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 are desirable
