SHEQ Coordinator

About the role

The SHEQ Coordinator is responsible for overseeing safety, health, environment and quality activities within the business unit. The role ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements, creating a safe working environment where risks are identified and managed.

Key responsibilities

• Display and maintain current SHEQ policies across all operational areas.
• Monitor compliance with company objectives, goals and targets.
• Ensure company practices meet legal and regulatory requirements, providing ongoing legislative updates.
• Prepare and submit statutory documents as required.
• Assist in planning and delivering training to equip employees with necessary competencies.
• Compile, maintain and review risk assessments and associated action plans.
• Conduct regular risk audits and monitor performance against risk‑management plans.
• Produce monthly reports and report incidents according to company procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating safety, health, environment and quality functions.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to develop and deliver training interventions.
• Experience preparing reports, audits and risk‑assessment documentation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
