Service Delivery Lead

About the role

SS&C Technologies is looking for a Service Delivery Lead to oversee a team of professionals and ensure the efficient and accurate delivery of services and projects. The role is based in Bellville, South Africa, on a hybrid basis, and calls for strong leadership, technical aptitude and a commitment to a collaborative, high-performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the team, giving guidance, feedback and support to meet team and individual goals.
• Manage daily operations, including task allocation, workflow and performance monitoring, so SLAs and deadlines are met.
• Act as the main escalation point for complex issues and resolve them with minimal impact on operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and prioritise tasks.
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices to improve efficiency, quality and client satisfaction.
• Hold regular team meetings, run performance reviews and coach and develop team members.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and regulatory compliance standards.
• Prepare and present reports on team performance, project status and key metrics to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role, preferably in financial services or technology.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
• Good understanding of process, systems and business analysis principles and methodologies.
• Good understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, and strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
