SEO Strategist

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Strategist to manage a portfolio of 3‑4 international clients from South Africa. You will develop clever, revenue‑focused SEO strategies, lead client meetings, and own the end‑to‑end performance of each account while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Client ownership: act as the primary contact, lead Zoom calls and keep clients informed of growth initiatives.
• Strategy & execution: design and direct monthly SEO plans that align with client revenue goals.
• Client communication: present complex data in clear, actionable insights during virtual meetings.
• On‑page & E‑E‑A‑T specialist: apply deep expertise in on‑page optimisation and E‑E‑A‑T principles.
• Reporting & analysis: produce insight‑driven monthly reports using GA4, GSC, Accuranker and Looker Studio.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of dedicated agency SEO experience.
• At least three client SEO case studies you can share.
• University degree.
• Demonstrated use of AI to improve SEO efficiency (nice‑to‑have).
• Familiarity with tools such as Accuranker, Screaming Frog, Google Tag Manager and HTML (nice‑to‑have).

What we offer

• Salary range R25,000 – R45,000 CTC (ZAR).
