SEO Specialist (German Market, Remote)

About the role

TransPerfect is seeking a strategic, data-driven SEO Specialist to join its digital department on a freelance basis. The role supports international brands in strengthening their digital presence in the German market, optimising content and technical frameworks for traditional search engines and AI-powered platforms. It is a remote, project-based position acting as a consultant who turns complex data into measurable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out technical SEO audits to find and fix performance bottlenecks
• Review core web vitals, hreflang implementation and canonical tags for optimal indexing
• Develop and run content strategies suited to the German search landscape
• Advise on site architecture and crawlability
• Manage AI-focused projects, including AI prompt development and audits of Large Language Model (LLM) visibility
• Use advanced crawl tools for diagnostics and performance reporting

Required profile

• Native German with high-level English
• Strong foundation in technical and on-page SEO
• Experience with international SEO, localisation and cross-border expansion
• Forward-looking approach to AI search, LLMs and prompt engineering
