SEO Project Manager (Remote)

About the role

A digital marketing agency specializing in SEO, content strategy and organic growth for high-growth clients is looking for an SEO Project Manager. The role acts as the main liaison between the agency and its clients, managing SEO projects from onboarding through execution and reporting. It works remotely, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with work locations in the Philippines, Latin America or South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, hosting onboarding calls, regular status check-ins and performance reviews.
• Translate technical SEO strategies and data insights into clear summaries and presentations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate SEO specialists, content creators, web developers and technical analysts to deliver campaigns on schedule.
• Develop project scope documentation, timelines, resource allocation plans and milestone trackers.
• Monitor campaign health and KPIs with industry tools, flagging risks early and proposing solutions.
• Manage client expectations, scope changes and deliverables to protect retention and partner relationships.

Required profile

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• 3+ years of project management or account management experience in a digital agency setting.
• Foundational knowledge of SEO, technical SEO, content strategy and digital marketing analytics.
• Proven track record of managing client relationships and explaining complex technical concepts clearly.
• Preferred: PMP or Agile/Scrum certification; experience with global, remote teams across time zones.

Required skills

• Project management platforms such as Asana, ClickUp, Jira and Trello.
• SEO and analytics tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog and Google Looker Studio.
