Senior Systems Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team, focusing on systems analysis, business analysis, and application analysis within complex enterprise environments, particularly in the banking or financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct current‑state analysis to evaluate existing systems and identify improvement areas.
• Reverse‑engineer applications where documentation is lacking, outdated, or fragmented.
• Perform impact and root‑cause analysis to support problem resolution and system enhancements.
• Model processes, services, integrations, and data flows to meet business needs.
• Facilitate stakeholder collaboration to gather requirements and ensure alignment with objectives.
• Develop and document comprehensive functional specifications for system modifications.
• Utilise Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation.
• Leverage SQL and Azure to support data integrations and application development initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience in systems analysis, technical business analysis, software engineering, or application analysis within a complex enterprise environment.
• Proven capability in reverse‑engineering applications and legacy platforms with limited documentation.
• Strong analytical skills focused on current‑state, impact, and root‑cause analysis.
• Experience modelling processes, services, integrations, and data flows.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, SQL, and Azure.
• Experience in .Net framework and application development is a plus.
