Senior SEO & Digital PR Executive

About the role

We are seeking a senior specialist to own and drive digital experience workstreams across SEO, reactive digital PR, and content performance for a leading digital media agency in Cape Town. You will work autonomously, combining technical audits with fast‑paced media outreach to keep client footprints both technically sound and narratively compelling.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑standard technical SEO audits, diagnosing crawling, indexing and site‑architecture issues.
• Identify and execute reactive PR opportunities by monitoring daily news and search trends.
• Manage end‑to‑end outreach, including media list building and pitch creation for local and international outlets.
• Track and report on SEO and Digital PR performance, ensuring KPI visibility for the wider team.
• Maintain project timelines, data integrity and early detection of performance drops.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in SEO and digital PR, with a client‑first mindset.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret traffic fluctuations, keyword trends and media impact.
• Excellent written communication for persuasive media pitches and client reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
