Senior Saipa Accountant

About the role

We are a professional accounting firm and SAIPA member seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. The role offers the chance to work with a diverse client base, develop advanced accounting expertise, and contribute to a paper‑less, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounting data and maintain general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts and closed corporations.
• Manage tax affairs and planning, including VAT, PAYE and provisional tax.
• Conduct cash‑flow forecasting and maintain the fixed‑asset register.
• Administer payroll, salaries and wages.
• Register entities and handle other statutory registrations.

Required profile

• B.Com degree with completed articles; SAIPA membership is advantageous.
• Ability to meet monthly deadlines consistently.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Capability to work independently under pressure.
• Valid South African ID document.
