Senior Sage X3 Consultant

About the role

SynergERP is looking for a highly experienced Senior Sage X3 Consultant to lead the design, implementation, customization, and support of Sage X3 ERP solutions across its operations. This hybrid position offers flexibility to work remotely while attending occasional on‑site engagements in Midrand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end Sage X3 implementation projects, from requirements gathering through go‑live and post‑implementation support.
• Analyse complex business processes and recommend improvements using Sage X3 functionality.
• Configure and customise Sage X3 modules such as Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, and Mobile ADC to meet client needs.
• Develop and maintain detailed system documentation, test plans, and training materials.
• Provide functional and technical support after deployment, troubleshooting issues and ensuring system stability.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and act as the subject‑matter expert for Sage X3.
• Support integrations between Sage X3 and third‑party applications.
• Mentor junior consultants and share best practices within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with Sage X3, including at least two full‑cycle implementations.
• Strong understanding of key Sage X3 modules (Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, Projects).
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
