Senior Project Manager – FinTech (Cape Town)

About the role

Kurtosys is seeking a hands‑on Senior Project Manager to lead client‑facing SaaS and reporting projects for global asset managers. Based in Cape Town, you will own delivery end‑to‑end, making decisions, managing priorities and driving outcomes in a fast‑paced FinTech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver multiple (≈3) projects simultaneously from initiation to closure.
• Work directly with senior client stakeholders to define scope, timelines and success criteria.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across Product, Design and QA to ensure seamless delivery.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks while managing priorities.
• Provide regular status updates and ensure alignment with client expectations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of client‑facing project management experience, preferably in SaaS, digital or data‑intensive environments.
• Experience delivering projects for asset management or financial services firms.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple complex projects and drive results.
• Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with senior executives.

Required skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (Prince2, Agile).
