Senior Plumber

About the role

PEC Utility Management is looking for a qualified Senior Plumber to lead a team in the installation and maintenance of water meters for residential and commercial clients. The role requires a hands‑on, self‑motivated professional who can uphold high service standards while managing daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install water meters of various sizes and perform related plumbing tasks on a daily basis.
• Lead and supervise a team of plumbers, ensuring efficient work practices.
• Maintain accurate reporting and documentation for each job.
• Manage client relationships and address service inquiries promptly.
• Oversee stock control, ordering, and inventory of plumbing materials.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial and residential maintenance plumbing.
• Proven ability to install water meters and work with copper, galvanized, Mepla, and Hep2O pipes.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Bilingual in Afrikaans and English, both spoken and written.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
