Senior Millwright – Manufacturing Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a senior Millwright to lead the maintenance and installation team on a busy manufacturing floor. The successful candidate will provide expert technical support, mentor artisans, and ensure equipment reliability through precise installation, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Dismantle, assemble, install and align machinery and equipment.
• Move heavy equipment and construct foundations for machines.
• Execute pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical repairs.
• Perform planned maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
• Fit, inspect, test and repair MCC, circuits, wiring systems and electrical equipment.
• Install, commission and test new machinery and equipment.
• Repair electrical circuitry and components.
• Update SCADA interfaces and integrate PLC systems where required.

Required profile

• Four to five years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical Trade or NTC certification.
• Red Seal Certificate preferred.
