About the role
Deloitte is hiring a Senior Manager for its Audit Portfolio in Midrand. The role supports service and business area leadership in implementing the strategic plan through effective team management, and supports the Partner in delivering services to or at client premises on specific delegated engagements or projects.
Key responsibilities
- Manage challenging portfolio audit engagements
- Support the Senior Manager on delivery of designated engagements and projects, managing agreed deliverables
- Maintain oversight of team deliverables on client engagements
- Communicate the Audit Engagement Agreement details to teams and monitor adherence
- Share expertise and counsel team members on an ongoing basis
- Manage engagement budgets through accurate budgeting, cost control and profitability management
- Contribute to regional and business area winning business, including industry manager initiatives and cross-service-line selling and collaboration
Required profile
- Certified Accountant (CA) in South Africa
- Ideally 2+ years as a Senior Audit Manager
- Desired: 5+ years in a client-facing management role
