About the role
The Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences at North-West University’s Potchefstroom campus is seeking a Senior Lecturer (Grade A7) on a permanent basis. The role involves contributing to teaching, research and community engagement within the School of Economic Sciences.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a variety of learning activities such as tutorials, practical classes, workshops and field excursions for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and update subject and course material to ensure relevance and academic rigor.
- Provide effective mentorship, supervise postgraduate coursework and research projects, and monitor student performance and throughput.
- Engage in scholarly research, produce peer‑reviewed outputs, and collaborate with colleagues to foster a research culture.
- Participate in discipline‑related conferences, workshops and excellence award programmes.
- Contribute to community‑engagement initiatives linked to the School’s mission.
Required profile
- Permanent appointment (Grade A7) as a Senior Lecturer.
