About the role
We are looking for a highly experienced Kitchen Manager to run a very busy back‑of‑house operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen activities and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage food cost and maintain budgets.
- Ensure hygiene practices are consistently followed.
- Open and close the kitchen, performing all required checks and controls.
- Oversee staff management, including discipline, mentoring, rostering and wage administration.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and arrange necessary repairs.
- Handle administrative tasks related to back‑of‑house operations.
- Coordinate pass and access management for kitchen personnel.
Required profile
- At least two years of experience in a similar kitchen management role.
- Two recent, contactable references.
- Residence in the area, willingness to relocate, or reliable transportation.
- Strong attention to detail and a drive to succeed.
