Senior IT Technician – Hospitality Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a skilled, service‑oriented IT Technician to maintain and support the hotel’s technology ecosystem. The role covers Windows Server administration, networking, and the operation of key hospitality platforms such as Symphony POS and Opera PMS in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Windows Server environments (2008‑2022) and manage Active Directory, DHCP and DNS.
• Maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, switches, routers, firewalls and Wi‑Fi, including VLAN configuration and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support for Symphony POS and Oracle Hospitality OPERA PMS, covering front‑desk, restaurant and back‑office systems.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and enforce security policies such as MFA.
• Deliver Level 1‑3 end‑user support, set up desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices, and document tickets.

Required profile

• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to work independently or within a team.
• Calm under pressure, flexible with working hours and able to provide 24/7 support in a hospitality environment.

Required skills

• Windows Server (2008‑2022) administration.
• Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, Wi‑Fi.
• Virtualisation (Hyper‑V or VMware).
• Symphony POS and Opera PMS support.
• Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) administration.
• PowerShell scripting and backup/disaster‑recovery concepts.
