Senior Front End Developer – Cape Town

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front‑End Developer to join our fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) team in Cape Town. You will help shape next‑generation merchandising ERP and e‑commerce platforms, delivering high‑performance user experiences that drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of responsive, scalable client‑side applications.
• Collaborate with back‑end teams to deliver full‑stack solutions.
• Translate business requirements into elegant UI implementations.
• Participate in system analysis, architecture, and design decisions.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge across the team.
• Engage with stakeholders to refine technical specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience with a strong front‑end focus.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/SCRUM environments.
• Experience building strong relationships with business stakeholders.
• Background in FMCG, retail, merchandising, or CRM systems is a plus.

Required skills

• React, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript
• C# and full‑stack integration principles
• Relational databases and data modelling
• Oracle Cloud Commerce, Oracle DB, SQL Server (SSAS/SSIS)
• Power Query, DAX, multidimensional data models
• Low‑code platforms such as Oracle APEX and Microsoft Power Apps
• Control‑M or other enterprise scheduling tools
