Senior Foreman (Finishing) – Western Cape

About the role

The Senior Foreman (Finishing) will lead on‑site operations for commercial and residential projects in the Western Cape. This role ensures that all construction activities are executed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards while coordinating labour, subcontractors, and materials.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily on‑site operations and manage the finishing trades.
• Coordinate labour, subcontractors, and material deliveries.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified standards.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
• Report progress and issues to project management regularly.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years proven experience as a Senior Foreman.
• Minimum NQF Level 4/5; NQF Level 6, Red Seal Certificate, and MBA are advantageous.
• Must reside in the Western Cape.
• Solid experience in both commercial and residential construction, including structural, wet trades, and finishing.
• Strong leadership and site supervision abilities with a focus on timelines and quality.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and site safety.
