About the role

The Senior Credit Vetting Specialist will lead a team of credit vetting professionals, ensuring credit applications are assessed in line with national regulations and company policies.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and organise workflow of the credit vetting team to deliver timely, quality credit decisions.
Evaluate credit applications, verify documentation, and ensure thorough assessment before submission to the credit committee.
Monitor the vetting process, identify improvement areas, and work with the Head of Department and technical team on automation and efficiency.
Maintain compliance with regulatory and legal requirements and provide regular performance reports to the Credit Manager.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in credit vetting and assessment.
At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of credit policies, regulations, and legal requirements.

Required skills

Leadership and team management.
Effective communication with internal departments and customers.
