About the role
Hinterland, a leading agricultural retail business and subsidiary of Senwes, is looking for a Junior Accountant to support accurate financial reporting, reconciliations and accounting processes across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Review expenses, investigate variances and ensure accurate cost allocations.
- Prepare and process journals, reconciliations and month‑end transactions.
- Verify supplier payments for accuracy and compliance.
- Generate financial reports and provide financial information to stakeholders.
- Respond to financial queries from departments and management.
- Assist with year‑end financial statements, audit queries and the annual integrated report.
Required profile
- Relevant BCom degree with completed articles.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience post‑articles.
