Senior Compliance & Risk Manager

About the role

Network Finance is seeking an experienced Senior Compliance & Risk Manager to lead its second‑line risk and compliance functions. This strategic role ensures robust governance, regulatory compliance, and effective enterprise‑wide risk management to support long‑term business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve the organization’s compliance framework.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, standards and risk‑management plans.
• Manage relationships with regulatory authorities and coordinate submissions.
• Drive the enterprise risk‑management framework, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation and monitoring.
• Maintain the corporate risk register and ensure material risks are escalated appropriately.
• Develop risk‑based monitoring and assurance programmes and oversee incident and breach management.
• Produce clear reporting for senior leadership, governance committees and the board.
• Support governance committees with high‑quality reporting and risk insights.
• Champion a culture of ethics, compliance and risk awareness, including training initiatives.
• Lead, mentor and develop the compliance and risk team.

Required profile

• Seasoned professional with extensive experience in compliance and enterprise risk management.
• Proven ability to partner with executive leadership and influence strategic decisions.
• Strong track record of building and leading high‑performing compliance and risk teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
