Senior Business Development Representative - UK B2B IT/Tech

About the role

Growth Resourcing is recruiting, on behalf of its client, a motivated, target-driven Business Development Representative who will focus exclusively on new business acquisition. The client is an IT and technology services provider offering secure, modern solutions for education, retail and enterprise environments, covering IT infrastructure, device provisioning, data protection, cybersecurity and managed IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn and networking.
• Research and identify potential clients within target markets.
• Engage with senior decision-makers and qualify new business opportunities.
• Promote IT solutions including infrastructure, devices, cybersecurity and managed services.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and meet or exceed sales activity, meeting-setting and performance targets.
• Manage prospecting activities and keep accurate records in a CRM system.

Required profile

• 3+ years of proven experience as a BDR, SDR or in a similar outbound sales role in IT, technology or managed services.
• Strong cold-calling, email prospecting and LinkedIn outreach experience.
• Good understanding of IT solutions, cybersecurity, infrastructure or managed services.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and confidence engaging senior decision-makers.
• Resilient, self-motivated and target-driven, with strong research, lead qualification and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
