Senior Backend Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join a fast‑paced, remote‑first team building cloud‑native platforms that power enterprise‑grade applications. The role focuses on designing, developing and operating high‑performance backend services in a micro‑services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable cloud‑native backend services using Golang.
• Develop and operate distributed systems on Kubernetes across AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Lead architecture and implementation of new product features from concept to production.
• Apply computer‑science fundamentals to solve challenges in scalability, networking, concurrency and performance.
• Integrate secure authentication solutions such as SSO and IdP platforms (e.g., Okta).
• Collaborate with product, engineering and infrastructure teams to deliver high‑quality software.
• Promote best practices in reliability, observability and maintainability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience building highly scalable backend systems and micro‑services.
• Strong proficiency in Golang and solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, operating systems, networking and concurrent programming.
• Hands‑on experience deploying applications in Kubernetes on major cloud providers.
• Experience with enterprise authentication/identity solutions such as Okta.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and influence architectural decisions.
