Senior Backend Developer

About the role

Wamly is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to own and evolve the core engine of its rapidly growing SaaS platform. You will work with a high‑energy engineering team, taking full responsibility for backend code, infrastructure, and the overall health of the service.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the backend code and infrastructure that powers the entire Wamly platform.
• Design and ship new features using Java and Spring Boot.
• Ensure the platform remains fast, stable, and reliable, treating each clean deployment as a success.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum or Kanban) and follow the sprint cadence.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of Java, Spring Boot/Spring Framework, relational databases (MySQL) and REST APIs.
• Strong experience with AWS services (Lambda, RDS, ECS, S3), token‑based authentication, and unit testing.
• Proficiency with Git and a track record of shipping production services.
