Senior Back-End Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Back‑End Developer to join our Agile team and help build a scalable enterprise platform that unifies financial products, vehicle data, APIs, and calculation services. The role focuses on designing clean Java code, creating robust REST APIs, and leveraging modern cloud technologies to deliver high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise software applications using Java.
• Build and maintain scalable REST APIs.
• Implement new features that enhance user experience.
• Improve existing systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Review code, enforce engineering standards, and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support deployments.
• Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines.
• Write technical documentation and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions and standby support when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior back‑end developer, preferably in an Agile environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Experience mentoring developers and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call or standby support.
